Job Responsibilities (Primary) Project Manager (PM) to assist with implementation plans, processes, procedures and activities.  The detailed responsibilities are outlined below:
1. Project Management Support Prepare and deliver to the PMD project management activities including reviewing and updating project management documentation and plans. 2. PMD Management Guidance and Support Prepare and deliver guidance and support of PMD management through guiding principles, project management plans and schedule. 3. Master Project Plan Revisions Prepare and deliver support and assistance to the FI$Cal Schedule Team through updated and revised Master Project plans as needed through project transitions from one system development lifecycle to another. 4. Update Project Management Plans Prepare and deliver leadership, guidance and support with updating project management plans such as Schedule Management, Risk Management, Cost Management, Quality Management, Staff Management, etc. 5. Scheduled Milestone/Deliverable Recommendations Prepare and deliver analysis of the FI$Cal progress toward milestones and deliverables and provide alternatives and recommendations that will guarantee all milestones and deliverables will be met. 6. Work Product Recommendations Prepare and deliver review, assessment, analysis, and written comments on FI$Cal work products. 7. Task Prioritization and Status Prepare and deliver prioritization of tasks and status of the tasks to the project management. 8. Improvement Impact or Opportunity Prepare and deliver coordination and consultation to the Functional Manager on areas of impact or opportunities for improvement. 9. Issue Management Prepare and deliver ongoing interviews with the PMD so issues surface and are resolved in a timely manner.  Track action items and their resolution as needed. 10 Performance Criteria Prepare and deliver development of aggregate performance criteria for measuring: •Success of the Project and System Quality •Timeliness •Budget Compliance •Degree of Customer Satisfaction 11 Project Management Information Systems Facilitation Prepare and deliver facilitation of implementation and improvement of project management information systems, e.g., project management tools and software.
Job Responsibilities (Secondary) 12 Measurement of Objections and Benefits Achieved Prepare and deliver the methodology and schedule for measuring the business areas that will quantify the degree of the business objectives and benefits that have been achieved after project/sub-project’s implementation. 13 Increase Visibility of FI$Cal System’s Status Create and distribute management information to FI$Cal Leadership, PMD Deputy Director or designated staff as a vehicle for greater visibility as to the status of the FI$Cal System. 14 Responses to IPO and IV&V Prepare and deliver coordination and participation in the preparation of responses to Independent Project Oversight (IPO) and Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) assessments and recommendations. 15 Effectiveness Improvement Prepare and deliver assessment and development of the plan to improve long term team effectiveness, resulting in facilitated training and education sessions.
Technical Skills and Core Competencies Required:
Project management experience in PeopleSoft Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) version 9.x Experience in analysis, design, configuration, and testing for a large-scale Software Project. At least three (3) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity. Experience in writing/editing documentation such as, business processes, project management plans, and desk-reference guides, jobaids, training materials, procedures and guidelines.
